Some mistakes and lack of understanding

Royal jelly - a natural and valuable bee product is listed as synthetic

Alcohol - determined as bad but not consideration for % in the formulations - it acts as a natural preservative and in the small percentages less than 1% in which it is used in cosmetics it can’t harm skin. It’s natural and way better than PEG’s or other harmful alternatives.

Perfume - again no consideration for actual ingredients and their percentages - perfume in INCI can also be a blend of essential oils which have many benefits but the app does not acknowledge it

Hope they hire an expert in cosmetics development to actually help them make it app truly useful. I’m disappointed it works just like all other INCI apps which don’t help educate only create misinformation

Doesn’t work

I buy common products at regular stores, nothing too niche and yet good half of them weren’t found in the database. What’s worse, when you scan one that IS in the app, the endless spinning wheel prevents you from tapping anywhere ie. the result button, the back button. You can restart the app, you may explore the menus, but god forbid you start scanning your cosmetics. That’s a big no no.
